You will hopefully receive a copy of this direct from me, but I wanted to have a copy here as well.

Nigel Cannings 11 September 2007 15:03

Is it possible to make the widget display itself with a greater (or smaller) width? It doesn't fill the horizontal space in the righthand column of my blogspot blog. Thank you.

I'm sorry but that the size of the widget is fixed. We are looking at offering a premium widget at some point that will allow more control over the look.

Stephen Hebditch 02 January 2009 10:34

Nigel, I'm wondering if you've got some time to spare.

Shadow Grafix 12 August 2007 19:30

Hi Sharon. The best way to do this is to create a space within Jiglu specifically for the blog you wish to tag alone, then manage it through that space rather than the links on your home page.

Graham Uphill 17 October 2007 09:05

Hi Nigel, Please go on, because it is helpul. You know that the changes from Mailspaces to Jiglu was a trouble for me. Then i was not sure to write, and i stop to do that.

Filipe AlvesFerreira 07 October 2007 10:33

As you might have noticed, we've changed our name today from MailSpaces to Jiglu – we'll write more on the reasons why on the Jiglu Blog shortly.

Graham Bradshaw 23 March 2007 23:02

Indeed, although space limited, as I understand it. Our USP on the group side is the rich functionality of added wiki and feeds, held together with the Jiglu tagging technology

Dear Jiglu, During yet another Yahoo outage I managed to get a new Jiglu member; however she didn't like the fact that the date of birth and place of birth were mandatory entries during the...

Ian Gillis 22 August 2007 12:17

We're adding some major new functionality to Jiglu in the autumn.

Nigel Cannings 30 July 2007 11:54

Jiglu was designed from the ground up as a community collaboration and knowledge tool - But because of some of the features we have added, it has the ability to do some pretty smart things from the personal productivity point of view. One of these is the ability to take a bunch of RSS or Atom feeds, and have Jiglu "read" them, link them, and then pump the relevant information back out at you in a number of different ways.

Nigel Cannings 29 March 2007 15:39

Ian posted Steven's reasons for choosing 'jiglu' Dear Ian Jiglu indeed! This is serious stretching of the imagination. It doesn't bring to my mind jigsaws and glue and communities at all.

Ian Gillis 25 March 2007 10:14

Jiglu? Please, no! Mailspaces was so much neater, classier, more polished... Jiglu is too teeny-bopper...

Dimitris Triantopoulos 24 March 2007 00:22

As you might have noticed, we've changed our name today from MailSpaces to Jiglu – we'll write more on the reasons why on the Jiglu Blog shortly.

Stephen Hebditch 23 March 2007 17:39

Hi Andrew. The downloading process requires that the widget be added to all individual permalink pages that are to have their content analysed.

Graham Uphill 17 October 2007 08:59

I've written a bit more about it over on the blog (which for those of you who haven't ventured off e-mail and onto the site yet, has more of Steve's jaunty letters in the banner.)

Nigel Cannings 24 March 2007 14:28

Hi Nigel. The main reason I can think of for this happening is that the invite was sent to a different e-mail address than the one you have registered to in the system.

Graham Uphill 20 August 2008 12:31

I am currently set up as an administrator on the Blue Mountain GC Committee space ((Address removed)) and a member of the Blue Mountain Golf Club Ladies Section space ((Address removed)).

Annie Pack 03 September 2009 07:34

Can I get a weekly newsletter, and stop getting an e-mail every time someone sends something in?!

Nigel Cannings 29 March 2007 15:24

Hi Chris I don't know if you remember, but for a while, I've been having problem posting on AN through e-mail.

Christopher England 11 January 2009 12:11

Hi Annie. From looking at the Ladies Section space, there are two members with your name in the space. Perhaps you have two accounts?

Graham Uphill 03 September 2009 10:08

You mean the link on 'Person' in the properties section in the sidebar when you view a tag? We'll have that one fixed shortly.

Stephen Hebditch 12 March 2009 18:09

...feedback: Hi and thank-you for being there, I'm still getting an error message after clicking on items related to Bryan Clifford BsD (Oxford) ; i.e. not Bryan Clifford Bs....?

Bryan Clifford 12 March 2009 17:01

Jiglu is great for online work, but printing knowledge entries gives very poor results (I've tried with FF3 and IE7).

Lars Bauer 16 January 2009 12:50

I find some difficulties with my jiglu account because after the register of some 15 blogs I'm unable to register new blogs now. May you help me.

Filipe AlvesFerreira 20 August 2008 12:36

Is there a way to know how much of megs have been used in one Jiglu group ? Or when a group totals almost the whole 50 megs allowed, do we received a notice about that ?

Michel Gignac 24 December 2007 06:04

Anyone have experience adding a jiglu widget to their squarespace site?

Wendy Taylor 30 November 2007 21:14

Ah, yes, I see the problem now. Thank you Graham. Does anyone on this board know how to add, in Blogger, widgets to the sidebar that will show across all pages?

Andrew Baisley 18 October 2007 13:27

Dear Jiglu Support, Is it the flood that is delaying your response to Support queries and slowing down the server response?

Ian Gillis 28 August 2007 08:24

Further to my previous whine, I am still not getting email from my spaces on Jiglu.

Christopher England 03 June 2007 22:46

Hmm, I shall have to leave that to the illustrious Mr Hebditch, I'm afraid.

Nigel Cannings 28 May 2007 08:27

Bob Gould 02 April 2007 12:01

I've had a couple of successful spammings to my jiglu space. Both have managed to get through by emulating the admin address for my space (Anorak nation) as the address of origin.

Christopher England 29 March 2007 22:42

Hi Helen. This was a problem with the system being so busy, that anything being published was taking a long time to appear in the site.

Graham Uphill 23 July 2008 10:36

Hi Leigh. What has happened here is that we have encountered a bug when spidering your site, so the process is failing when it shouldn't.

Graham Uphill 23 October 2007 16:52

Nope. It's still all the broken.

Nigel Kennington 22 August 2008 10:10

Hi, 'groups', right, I forgot. I've resigned from most internet groups in order to BLOG, including about extended internet 'groups' like BLOGGER, MySpace and FaceBook?

Bryan Clifford 18 October 2007 23:27

Now, even I was surprised we do this. Let's say you're typing an e-mail about the meeting minutes from the 29th, and you know that you want to type them up in Jiglu, or even better, get someone else to do it. Dead easy.

Nigel Cannings 29 March 2007 07:16

To prevent spammers harvesting e-mail addresses from Jiglu.com we don't show any e-mail addresses on the site unless you're logged on. Even if you are logged on, addresses are encoded in a way that makes it hard for spammers to be able to read them.

Stephen Hebditch 08 May 2007 09:57

You see, I knew we had a fan out there somewhere... We noticed the service announcement from Yahoo the other day, as well, and tried not to flatter ourselves that we were the cause! I do have a Yahoo!

Nigel Cannings 29 March 2007 15:13

How to get pictures and text on to your home page.

Stephen Hebditch 16 June 2009 21:04

Hi Elena Thanks for posting it here as well Your problem is a specific one related to the size of the documents you have uploaded – Each space has a 50 Mb limit by default.

Nigel Cannings 17 July 2007 10:18

None of my world history group are able to post, Nigel's reply ids that we have maxed the space. Fine but how can I correct this, and the group is not large so I am at odds with it maxing.

What a bunch of rotters you all are :-) I'm sure that Yahoo and Google would sound pretty funny too, if you heard them "fresh" again.

Nigel Cannings 26 March 2007 16:50

Jiglu.com will be unavailable on Tuesday 27 October 2009 from 10am to approximately 6pm for a software upgrade.
