Stopping Auto Reply Messages
Some auto-responders seem to enjoy sending out of office or vacation messages back to the list, over and over again, much to the annoyance of other list users. We, in common with other mailing list and group services, conform to RFC 3834 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc3834.html), which specifies amongst other things that auto-responders should identify list posts, and discard them, and also identify the messages they send out as autogenerated. |

How can I get a full Atom feed?
By default, any Atom feed from your space will give you the headlines, not the full contents. To get that, you need to add ?content=original after the +atom in the feed URL. |

To prevent spammers harvesting e-mail addresses from Jiglu.com we don't show any e-mail addresses on the site unless you're logged on. Even if you are logged on, addresses are encoded in a way that makes it hard for spammers to be able to read them. |

Made a mistake? Need to delete a Space? If you go to the Settings page for a Space, at the bottom of the page you should find a 'Delete' link. You'll then need to confirm that you really do want to remove it as once it's gone, it's gone. |

We have extensive context sensitive help documentation built in to the system: The first is a "hover" tooltip. Just leave your mouse over the heading of the item you need help with, and a brief caption appears. For more detailed help, click the Help tab at the right hand side of the toolbar. This is context sensitive, so will try to help you at whatever point you find yourself in the system. |

Feeds, Glorious Feeds
Jiglu was designed from the ground up as a community collaboration and knowledge tool - But because of some of the features we have added, it has the ability to do some pretty smart things from the personal productivity point of view. One of these is the ability to take a bunch of RSS or Atom feeds, and have Jiglu "read" them, link them, and then pump the relevant information back out at you in a number of different ways. |

Periodically, we may end up on someone's Black List - Not because we are spammers, but because, from time to time, people use an "@jiglu.com" address when they are spamming - Worse still, they sometimes even forge headers to make it look like we are sending these messages from our server Jiglu. |

Two related questions. How does the HTML Editor work? If you are creating items on the web (eg a discussion message or a knowledge entry), or you're replying, you get a text box with an HTML editor (like a word processor for Web pages) One frustration with this is that when you want to reply to a discussion message, you seem to get caught in the original message, with a line on the left hand side, like this: Hello there How are you There are a few... |

Can I start/link to a Knowledge wiki entry from an e-mail?
Now, even I was surprised we do this. Let's say you're typing an e-mail about the meeting minutes from the 29th, and you know that you want to type them up in Jiglu, or even better, get someone else to do it. Dead easy. |

Why do my members have to register?
Good question - you can join other services by sending an e-mail with a request to join, or even send an e-mail to <group>-(Address removed) Aren't we shooting ourselves in the foot by not making it easier for people to join? The fact is that in time, all mailing lists and group services will require some registration details, in particular of age. |
